The development of specialized monitoring in the MSME sector that we carry out has become the basis for proposing actions and influencing public policies that improve the problems and challenges that these companies are presenting.

The opinions provided by groups of micro, small and medium-sized companies in areas such as complexities and opportunities in female entrepreneurship; levels of participation, obstacles and advantages in digital transformation; links with the green economy and sustainability, limitations in access to financing, among other findings, have become the basis for supporting bills in Costa Rica that contribute to reducing some of these gaps. They are also key statistics for the political control of different legislators who seek to modify some behaviors that affect the competitiveness of these companies.

With this service, actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem interested in creating actions based on a topic related to these companies and the entrepreneurial environment will be able to identify, jointly with CELIEM, the appropriate strategy to address the problem by generating public policy based on precise data from the sector that strengthens the competitiveness and performance of MSMEs.
